2 fish from our 14.57lb bag from the Wafish open on washington today. Ended up 4th or 5th overall out of 29 boats. They were hungry all day!

Made it out for a few hours after work tonight. Made it out today, put fish in the boat on reaction baits shallow. Found smallies where I didnt expect them. Dobyns DX703sf with a 1500 series Okuma. Have fished the DX702SF and liked it for light weights, but 1/2oz was a little much for it. 703 does it all, but does move the bait a little more.

it was a great weekend for sure, being the first time for both of us fishing for river smallies....a little different to say the least
