In the market for my first casting rod. Just picked up a Abu Garcia Silver Max... I dont have the money for multiple rods so I need one that is going to be the most versatile/do it all kind of rod. Any advice?

Interested in going to this lake and trying my luck with largemouth... Catch is i don't have a boat, so i am in need of areas of the lake i can fish from shore. Look forward to hearing from you!

New to the area and do not have a boat... I am looking for some top water bass action or just any bass action at all from the shores. Where is the best place to go this time of year?! I look forward to reading your suggestions thank you!
