I fish not because I regard fishing as being terribly important, but because I suspect that so many of the other concerns of men are equally unimportant, and not nearly so much fun. ~ John Volker

some days that's the determining factor!
i'll fish with no drop leader and get no love.. I then add 8 to 12" and its fish on.. i am no expert, these are just my findings after many many hours of research and a few tips from others

Have you tried this method from the bank? I am wondering if you would get the same action or if it would hang up more?
Absolutely works from the bank..
this is my 1st season with my own boat.. while i have a couple friends with boats, 75% of my fishing has been from the bank prior to this season..
Do you prefer a slide weight or fixed when drifting those dick nites from the bank? I have not tossed the Wee Dick Nites but I am seeing a lot more fish being caught with them this year so this old dog needs to learn new tricks.

Forgot to mention, killer video.
ya know, depends on how much time i "think" i have.. 80% of the time i have it fixed, now adays the weight is always on at least 6" dropper leader and most the times i'm using cannonballs in the 1/2oz size. i do thing the sliding system hangs up less.. still researching ;)
Great video, I really appriceate it when skilled anglers help those of us that are either just starting or are having bad luck by showing their setup. I was wondering how far you go up the river, cause I didn't recognize the bridge in the video. Thanks again!
Some people go to church or the temple or the mosque or where ever one practices religion and dream about being in their favorite fishing spot and others go fishing and see their god(s) reflected back at them in the amazing nature around them.
