I just ran across this. Apperantly, sections of the Yakima River are going to be open all May for a spring run of Salmon. Here is the official website (straight from the WDFW website). I live a few miles from the river, so woo hoo!

Yes I heard about this, sounds interesting.
I haven't fished the part of the Yak that is going to be open very much.
My main question would be: What kind of shape are the fish in when caught there?
