I was picking up an order from one of my suppliers who just happens to be on the river.I walked up to the river and noticed the Army Corps of Engineers working on stabilizing the shoreline of the river. They installed huge logs on the sides of the shoreline for fish habitat and to keep the water cleaner I imagine.I was happy to see that the money that was for restoration of this river actually went to where it was supposed to.This was between South 180th and so 212th where I do alot of plunking for steelies and salmon.
Has anyone else noticed this and know more about it?

When youre up to your rear end in alligators, its hard to remember that the initial plan was to drain the swamp.

I know of a spot on the Snohomish where they did the same thing this last summer.. yeah it is nice to be able to "see" where the $$ goes once in awhile.
I fish not because I regard fishing as being terribly important, but because I suspect that so many of the other concerns of men are equally unimportant, and not nearly so much fun. ~ John Volker
