I won't lie much easier in a drifter or sled backing them down making them angry then from the side but those closed mouth dogs will strike if you place Candy roe in there nose!:-$
I catch many of the other run we have shared drifting bait=fishing bright flys, spinners and casting mag wiggle warts into the deeper slower holes and change your speeds coming in!
The Sky hatchery run of Kings should be meant at the Confluence HOLE!:-$ of the Sky and Sno around 522 many big number days there picking up bait not the mouth of the Wallace in the turtle waters in the lower hole Wallace they can be had but much tougher game/many snaggers and baggers as well!:-# :-$

8-[ Wade out above the frog waters where it narrows down Chest deep:-$ :-# pull out 33 full pulls on a bait diver or plug/mag Blue Pirate and MOVE when the rocks fly over your head! :shaking: :shaking2:

Side planner's could work as well but I personally hate fighting extra gear![-(

Like Swede said guys another thing is keep those lines in the water pound good water if it is a good hole the fish will come or be there:cheers: (move if possible to better/good water but if it is the best most productive hole camp out it will pay off) Kings will eat if it is put in front of them enough they have a real attitude problem and get agitated easily:-"
Another thing I haven't seen posted in this thread is fish at the very first light be on the water waiting:colors:

Kinghunter, anytime going fishing is a success. Do you remember our one friend who said, "I am just lucky to be alive?" Remember that comment the next time you get to go fishing. [-o< :sunny: :sunny:
