Silvers or Chum?

Post by MikeFishes » Sun Oct 28, 2007 3:19 pm

What's the best bet for this week? I was at the Snoho yesterday around Thomas Eddy and the river still seemed high. Of course, nothing was jumping. When do you think we should see more Silvers that far up stream? Or, should we be focusing on Chum now?

According to something that I read, there's supposed to be around 1.5 million chum this year. Should I be switching my tactics to Chum fishing instead of Silvers?

They should both be in...They are still getting silvers in the salt, so some of the bigger natives will be rolling through and the Chum are starting to show as well....

Thanks. Yesterday was pretty much motionless. But it's a ways upstream and the flow is still somewhat high.
