The Sky was on fire today

Post by northfork » Sun Jun 08, 2008 7:53 pm

Fished the Sky the last 3 evenings. No I didn't catch anything, almost got the side planer figured out.
Today the river dropped into shape, about 3' visibility.
Parking lot in Sultan was PACKED solid this morning.
Hiked back out from shore fishing at 630 this evening. Talked to the fish checker,
Todays Tally: 23 Steelhead and 4 chinook for 17 boats.
Lots of Guides out on the river today.:-$

Sounds good. This will be the year I start getting serious about hitting the rivers.

In the four years I have lived 5 minutes from the river I have never fished the chinook run, something always came up. NOT this time, I will be down there every chance I get and I WILL bring back fish.
