God bless him whoever he was and bless his family and loved ones
He went out with his ROD/fishing not his pole/lights:colors: or flags in his hand and that to me is my quest and perfect last cast

he is a fishing brother so he desers the respect i didnt know him personally but he is one of us. R.I.P he died with pole in hand probably doing what he loved. This shows that we who fish the rivers have to be much more watchful to watch for hidden dangrs.

Thanks for the heads up BBD. You never know, your next fishing trip could be your last, so don't ever hold back.

Happy Holidays and spend some quality time with the family! :thumright

[-o< My thoughts and prayers are with my fellow fisherman and his family. This hits home. It's in my neighboring city. I fish up that way quite often.

God Bless..

It is a sad but frequent reality when fishing rivers. Back when I used to fish the Tokul Creek area there were 1-2 fisherman a year that would go under and not resurface until it was to late.

Be sure of every step, it could be your last.

All the rivers, oceans and more all over the globe= even Crabbing in Dutch harbor before the discovery channel#-o ( Bering Sea) I have gone in 3 times= twice in the Wenatchee in less then 20 degree days .
Once I should have died I was in the water 12 minutes and more and got sucked into a log jam there was never a river I would not cross there are 100's now!

All were very close calls and 3 went to the medics for emergency care mother/nature is Cruel everytime.

thats why I don't go farther than groin deep when I'm by myself. I have chest waders but I'm not going to push it alone.
I won't kill anything less than a meal
