What was your biggest Muskie of 2014?

Mine was this pathetic little guy out of Newman lake in my 1 and only muskie trip of the year. It might have gone over 3 lbs. but i didn't weigh the beast lol
I am looking good in my Chapter 60 Muskies Inc. hat though.

My best this year was a forty one inch on the fly. My buddy however came out for his first muskie trip with me and got a forty five inch fish that was girthy as heck on the fly. His first muskie. We called this fish "Scabby Lee Gifford" as she had a strange growth on her. Hit by a boat and infected is my thought. I'd gotten multiple follows out of the same fish on the same location for days. My buddy makes q twenty foot cast o her as I had quit trying days ago for her and bam. I'll see if I can't post a photo here soon.

My biggest Musky of 2014 was also my only one. It was however a nice fat 40"er. I also missed 2 others that day.

Biggest of 2014 went 46". I have every intention of topping that this year!

That was a beast Mark!!!! 5" bigger then any Musky I have ever got. Any idea what she weighed? Congrats! I plan on breaking my record this year as well. As I'm going to be doing a lot more "quality" fishing this year, for both Pike and Muskies. I've gotten some nice Pike this spring . With a total of 5, "so far", with this super fatty being the biggest.
