RE:Sprague Lake
Thanks for the pics!
RE:Sprague Lake
Great pics- thanks for sharing. Do anglers in WA typically dispose of fish entrails back into the water? I understand regs say it's legal to field dress as long as fish are still identifiable. Just curious as to standard acceptable practices (I know the Wife would appreciate me bringing back the fish already dressed).
RE:Sprague Lake
It's OK...It helps feed the water critters. I would highly recommend that you clean your fish away from boat launches, docks, trails, public beaches and fishing areas. Out of sight out of mind so to speak.Jay K wrote:Great pics- thanks for sharing. Do anglers in WA typically dispose of fish entrails back into the water? Bragging may not bring happiness, but no man having caught a large fish goes home through an alley.

Sweet pictures D. I haven't been over there in years. Nice to see it again. When I was going to EWU, I kept meaning to fish Sprague, but never got around to it. Thanks for sharing.
RE:Sprague Lake
well the main reason for these fish being gutted was to give something to a heron that was trying to eat them. i guess it worked as it wasn't around when i took the pict's.
RE:Sprague Lake
Best time to fish Sprague Lake is in early Spring!!
