I'm actually off to a late start as last year I had 25 pike by this time, but my favorite spots are still froze over so far. Man I hate winters here and this one has been extra brutal!!

Panfish. That's a great looking fish. What body of water were you fishing?

Are they starting to bite on Lake Roosevelt now? I've been wanting to hit the mouth of the Kettle this week.

Nope, almost no pike into the shallows on Roosevelt yet. I've fished the mouths of the Colville and Kettle rivers 5 times in the last month and nothing. One pike was caught at the Colville but it must have been a lost loner. Mouth of the Colville R. is coffee BROWN! Got to get into April a ways.

That's our 5th pike in the last 2 weeks out of Lake Roosevelt. Slower start this year that's for sure, because last year at this time, we caught 19 in one day..... so bring on the warm weather! haha

Say, nice job St. Clair. You must be out in a boat digging them out of deeper water. But that pic is definitely on a Roosevelt shoreline with the water drop leaving the ice high and dry.

That would be from the shore, not boat.
