http://www.outcastboats.com/pontoons/pac-800.asp" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; My model version is very close to the current version in the link. The current version calls the pontoons "IR" which means that each end of the pontoon angles up off the water slightly.
I bought this from another forum member here, 1 or 2 years ago. The pontoon is in fine condition. It has never had any leaks during its time with me, and I am pretty sure the original owner said the same thing. This 'toon has the high quality Outcast valves, with option of one way air, or both ways air to pass.
The pics that I have placed here show the pontoon as I had it originally set up with a motor, Sonar, down rigger, etc.
I had intended to set this up with a Minn Kota electric, and therefor I have installed a full swivel seat. If you run an electric motor, you will need to be able to swivel at least 90 degrees to comfortably operate the motor. I had bought the Minn Kota 'Power Center'-- battery box and batter.
Unfortunately, I changed my mind about using a motor, and currently I am selling just the pontoon. No battery. Sonar stays with me, as well as the down rigger in photo.
These Outcast pontoons have high quality urethane bladders, not vinyl bladders. The outer pontoon material is very stout as well.
I am in N. Seattle
There has been a lot of talk recently on the forum about Pontoon boats, as Spring approaches. I am ready to sell my Outcast 8' pontoon. Outcast makes great products and would not be considered an entry level product. This is an early model of what is currently called the Outcast Pac 800. Here is a link to the 'current' version. For Sale: Outcast 8' Pontoon, $300.00
