Wanted: Stern Mount Electric Motor

I Need the motor to be able to push a 14" fiberglass boat.

I see Joe's has Endura 30 with rebate for $60 is that a good deal and would that be enough power for my needs.

Any suggestions would be appriciated.

I like my Endura 30. I have it on a 12' Lund V hull aluminum boat, which alone weighs roughly 180lbs. Load it up with battery, me, a tackle box or two, cooler, and a spare oar, I get around real fast in speed 5 and troll real slow in speed 1. I wouldn't like a 55lb thrust for my application because I think it would just drain the battery too hard. Even with two people and gear in my boat, I only have two speeds for trolling, those being 1 and 2. 3 is just a bit too fast, 4 and 5 are the speeds I use to get to other spots on the lake if I needa get there in a hurry or need to work hard to get upwind...

What does your boat weigh? I wouldn't mind the 36lb thrust just because of the longer shaft it comes with...
