Remove the battery and place the phone, battery and battery cover in a ziplock bag with a good sized bag of dessicant.
You should be able to pick some up at most marinas or boat equp. shops. Don't use the loose desicant, make sure it'n in its own non plastic bag. Zip the bag up...leave it over night.
I have saved many a phone and Blackberry with this technique at work.
Not always fool proof...but it's worth a try.
Good luck!

That's a tough one to get around, they now have them on the batteries too.jf0 wrote:This works surprisingly well, one thing to know is that even if you phone comes back to life the "moisture sensor" will still be tripped so if you send your phone in for whatever repair/service in the future they will reject it.

That's good information.Drumdog wrote:You could make your own desiccant pack as well..
1. Go to hobby store(Michaels..etc..) and buy flower drying crystals/powder.
2. Place some of the crystals in a coffee filter.
3. Fold edges and staple the coffee filter so no crystals leak out.
4. Place homemade desiccant bag and phone with batter bay open in ziplock bag.
5. Leave overnight and see if it works.
Good luck
