kwikfish were made by an ex-employee of the flatfish company who quit and wanted to start his own business up. He had to come up with a different name.

I'm not that smart...just read it in one of last year's Outdoor Life.

Could you post a link up to these wedding rings you're talking about? Are they different from regular wedding rings or do they actually have little lights on them???? thanks!!!

Hey Max, I saw a couple guys fishing at Klineline yesterday. Actually alot of guys fishing, but only two doing any good. They were throwing gold Kastmasters with long rods beyond the swim platform. Don't know what weight but the lures looked about 1-1/4" long. I saw them get unbuttoned on two big, and I mean big brooders. They landed another about 20" long and another that was 23-24" long and very fat. No tails, though. Too many years living in concrete raceways, I guess. Hope it helps.

I throw Luhr Jenson Needlefish at most all my fish and do extremely well. A very simple lure to overlook, but it has a history of catching HUGE fish, when used properly (right colors, troll speeds, etc).

Yeah Max, check out the F&H news for WA state they had an article in there on that part of the state and the lakes that got stocked down there. Klinline, Battle ground, Lacamas, Icehouse and some other lakes. Lots of fish, little presure is what it says. A fishermans dream come true

I think that michaelunbewust is talking about the Mack's Lure products that use a flexible plastic blade instead of the traditional metal blade. The new plastic blade has less drag in the water which allows you to use lighter gear and feel the bite of smaller fish. I have switched to these myself and have been very impressed with the improvement over traditional pop gear.

Ive fished Lk wa for trout a long time.My favorite is a 1/2 oz. Crocodile hammered gold color with red stripe. The other is a Lil Jewel silver/blue.
When youre up to your rear end in alligators, its hard to remember that the initial plan was to drain the swamp.
