Carbon River

With the pinks coming into the Carbon this year, what works best? Spinners, spoons, eggs, corkies? Any ideas for someone fairly new (1 season, 2 trips) at salmon fishing. :nemo:

I belive in corkies. The river is to shallow to thro spinners or spoons. And the river runs to fast for eggs in most spots. Stick to red or bright colores with about 4-5ft of leader.

Any good acces points along the carbon you guys would be willing to share? I have been to the shell station that has bait and has a bunch of pictures of fish caught from the carbon and was really impressed.

Park in Orting at the park and either walk or ride your bicycle down the trail headed toward South Priairie not Sumner. You will come to a bend in the river and there is park benches there. That is a really good, well known spot and opening day of the Kings it will be shoulder to shoulder combat fishing. It is something to see and participate in at least once in your life. I'm sure you could go to the Work Sports Store in Orting and get more info if you want. Good luck!

Thank you Rosann G. I have never really fished the river until this year and now I am addicted and want to as many rivers as possible. Thanks again
