WOW! I have never seen one of those before, but that is awsome. I hate running out of worms/maggots while night fishing, you pretty much have to give it up until morning when the bait shops open again. Not with one of these machines. Do you know what kind of bait they sell out of the machine?

A friend of mine in Missouri used to buy minnows for his pet piranhas out of a machine like that one, but during the cold winter months, he usually ended up with a bag of ice and a dozen frozen minnows.

Good point HillbillyGeek. I hope the ones out here not only have refridgeration, but heaters as well. Nothing worse than a dozen, frozen, or worms that died from heat when you hit the waterHillbillyGeek wrote:A friend of mine in Missouri used to buy minnows for his pet piranhas out of a machine like that one, but during the cold winter months, he usually ended up with a bag of ice and a dozen frozen minnows.![]()

Probably $1.25 and it cut off the $1. Unless it is Wal-Mart down south.iPodrodder wrote:Cool. Never seen one before. Where did you find this?

Look for Wannafish A Lure on FaceBook
He said, “Throw your net on the right side of the boat and you will find some.” When they did, they were unable to haul the net in because of the large number of fish.

They have those all over in the South and southern MidWest. When I was in Florida last fall, they had a bank of those in the front of BassProShops. They sold minnows, nightcrawlers and shiners. It was steeper than buying from the tackle shop because shiners in the machine were 4/$3.50 while the going rate was $8/dozen for that same size shiner.

RE:Bait Machine...
The bait machine was at an Albersons in Boise Idaho. The soda was $0.25 cents (Albersons brand). The bait was $2.50. The machine dispensed your choice of 12 lager night crawlers, the "trout special" 18 small-meduim night crawlers, 30 giant meal worms, 18 red tiger worms, or 24 garden earthworms. I think the bait might have been a little over priced considering the soda price. But I guess the convenience of not having to start your fishing trip standing in line might be worth it.
