I don't flyfish at all (not yet anyhow :pirat: ), but I thought that this was a very cool video.

Thanks Mikey,
That IS a cool video. I think he could have used a bit more air in his tube. Cold water actually shrinks the air in a float tube and you will need to re-inflate once that happens.
Where you go is less important than how you get there.

Awesome video. Note to self : Go to Ireland and fish, and catch a big pike in a tube, cool stuff. Mikey, You will find that flyfishing is the easies,t cleanest way to fish. You need less equipment, no bait and the fight is awesome. Jim

It is quite clear to me that Jim is not a fly fisherman. :^o LOL

OK, three fly rods, one for Salmon and heavy Steelhead, Bass. One for trout, 7 weight, for throwing big streamers. One for dry flys and nymphs, 5 or 6 weight.

Floating line, full sinking lines in intermediate, slow, fast, superfast, and just flat out down their in a hurry.
Floating with sinking tip in at least an intermediate, a slow, fast, and maybe a superfast.

Did I mention that this goes for each of the three rods.

Now, you have got to have reals, or at least extra spools, for each of those.

Flys, about 100 to start. Soon you will start to tie your own, then you will have 10,000][/b]You need less Equipment?

Don't tell my wife, she will never believe it.:-$ :-#
Too much water, so many fish, too little time.
