Help mooching in the sound

Post by natenez » Tue Aug 04, 2009 12:52 pm

My friend and I have gone out a few times in the sound, Area 10, mooching for salmon. We've been drifting on the shelf near West Point.

So far we've caught a ton of dog fish and some flatfish - but no salmon.

Does anyone hvae a recommendation for any specific sites to try, or general mooching tips?

Thanks

Run across to Jeff Head. Not as many doggies but the shakers can drive you crazy at times.

Southworth if you're willing to drive all the way there by the ferry dock
