Re: Batteries

Give Drew a call or Lithium Hub (they sell Ionic). both will answer the phone and they can tell you if what you have will work.

Re: Batteries

You hit on something I have been thinking of writing about. There was a thread about trolling motors a few months ago I was going to comment on. I upgraded to a 36v 112# Minn Kota Terova on my boat. On that thread I don't think anyone said much about batteries. I did a lot of research before upgradi...

Re: Questions about catching baitfish in Puget Sound

In the 20/21 regs it is on page 102/103. I said above that I might try a better jig. I haven't done that but looking closer I see that the net I use in fresh water meets the size as a dip net. I may try that next time i'm out and see bait fish around the boat. The big question is about the statement...

Re: Point No Point Public Launch?

All I see is a picture of the parking lot and where the launch will be. It says "THE WDFW REPLACEMENT RAMP AT POINT NO POINT This site is to provide you with information about the US Army Corps permitting for the replacement ramp at Point No Point" am I missing something? I have been watching and wa...

Re: Questions about catching baitfish in Puget Sound

You want to look at page 98 of the fishing pamphlet under "Forage Fish" FORAGE FISH - Forage fish jig or forage fish dip net only except anchovy and sardine may be taken by a cast net in Areas 1-4. Only one net may be used at a time. Dip net gear must be held by the rigid handle at all times and may...

Re: Use trolling flies for rainbow?

I have had success with a fly tied directly to the main line or with a swivel and leader. I run it around 100 ft back, sometimes I add a split shot or two. I just get the cheap assortment of flies and use the ones that look good to me. I like black or gray with maybe a little red or white. And I did...

Re: Broke off piece of lower unit on motor

I had a 90 hp yamaha that did not stay up when backing down a ramp and broke off about 2 inches of the skeg. It can effect steering but shoud not effect how the motor runs, so you may have a second problem with the motor. As for the skeg, they can be repaired by a shop welding on a part. That would ...

Re: question about livescope power use

I was hoping to possibly get a generator but that was a no go. It sounds like I would be ok, I would be running on the big motor some, there is the run up current to troll with it on the kicker and run back up. Then there is the 30 min run into area 4 for bottom fish. Larry as far as trolling motor ...

My boat is setup with bank one a single marine starting battery, bank two is two deep cycles that are size 27 with 116AH @ 100Hr/105AH @ 20Hr/85AH @ 5Hr. I tried to do some research and just couldn’t get my head aroun...

question about livescope power use

I recently installed a Garmin Livescope but have not had much chance to use it. When I have used it it is great. My question is about how much power it uses. I will be going to Sekiu this month for 3 days. I have a 20ft Hewes Sea runner with a 150 and 9.9 kicker. I have two scotty electric downrigge...

tanker5455 the regs can be picked up in paper form just about anywhere that you can get a fishing license. They are also online, that gives you the full reg pamphlet and the changes after printing. WA also has a app for your phone the has the regs and can use your location to tell you the regs for t...

They are on duty this morning it was not that way at 0530 this morning. Good they got it fixed. They should have done it before sending out the Email. The Regs have been out on paper for a few weeks.

It was on their home page. If you go into "fishing shellfishing" and then the regs you get the old one.
