Re: Lake Tapps, Panfish

Hey Ryan44- Thanks for the reply, appreciate the knowledge! I just started fishing Tapps last summer. And, I have only caught Rock Bass and Small Mouths. I have an ok map of lake Tapps, but don't know it that well. I don't have a boat, only a pontoon boat. Do you know of any launch points for small ...

Re: The deep dark secret of Rock bass....

Lake Washington has lots of them too. I have always caught Rock Bass close to rocky structure. Gene Coulon along the walk way going towards Ivars, usually has a school of them. Throw your lure really close to the wood dock structure and real in slowly. And, you will know when you have one on! Rock b...

Thanks

Lake Tapps

I just came from Lake Tapps today, fishing from my pontoon. Have read reports of various species in the lake - smallies, lg mth, perch, rock bass, tiger muskie, crappie, even trout. Are there any other type of species present in the lake? Also, does anyone have tips, pointers, locations where I coul...

Pontoon Storage Pulley System

Hey everyone - Wanted to post and see if anyone had any ideas for a good set up on storing their pontoon in a garage? I have been looking around for a pulley system, then I went to Home Depot yesterday and the staff person told me to maybe check out a bike shop. I'm simply going to drill the pulley ...

RE:R U Ready For Some Football

Really excited football season is back in action...GO HUSKIES! Vick adds a nice dimension to the Eagles roster. You can do a lot of things with him...Andy Reid will have to be a little more creative though and pull out some tricks, etc..to really utilize him. He might be the guy to get them over the...

RE:Bass Fishing with one pole

Fishing with one pole for bassing is very do-able! I think it's better to have 2 though. 1 for plastics/jigs and another for crank baits/spinners. Just my idea. I know what ya mean tho, re-tie and cutting line over and over through out a trip is annoying when you have to switch up gear! But, I would...

RE:Pontoon Friendly Lake List

Well, after certain periods of time like on hot summer days..You can forget about taking your pontonn on big public lakes like LK. WA, Union, Sawyer, lakes that attract a lot of jet skis/swimmers, etc..

Wave city you might think you were in the ocean..lol

RE:Personal Pontoon Fishing Boat

ckim85- I dont know how big your trunk is, but do your back seats fold down..that could be an option. Because what I do is leave the frame all attached and just fold up the pontoons (inflatables) and it fits just right in the back of my suv. I'm guessing you want have as much room as I do though. I ...

Night Fishing on Lk. WA from the bank

I'm thinking about hitting up Lk. WA WA for some night fishing from various bank spots. Has anyone ever attempted to night fish on lk. WA WA? I'll be going for what ever I can catch? But, will be targeting Crappie, blue gill, perch, bass in particular. I've talked to SlabKing about the Crappie bites...
