Well I just don't think chinook salmon eat a giant jig buried in the mud, although I fish the samish myself and do very well fishing eggs.

Around 4 people at the spot I fished but then a group of 4 snaggers just walk into our holes and starts hook setting every few seconds while we're float fishing then they leave. But another spot had probably 15-20.

Yeah I'm not kidding, then when then hook them foul hooked, they're all excited like they got them in the mouth. Either way on the bank it goes.
