Re: Nisqually parking

get off of I-5 at exit 114. take the Nisqually cut off road and park right across the street from the pumpkin patch. I have not fished there before but drive by it all the time. they are walking in from there and getting under the freeway. It is a bit of a hike and you will have to know the tides if...

Reel Parts? Anyone know where to get them?

I have an Abu Garcia Cardinal that needs a new drag cap/dial and Okuma that the handle keeper fell off. Anyone know of any shops or places that might have reel parts?? I know they are hard to find.

Buoy 10/Astoria.. Anyone here how the opener went

I'll be in Seaside next weekend. I'm heading for Warrenton and planning to fish the can line while I am there. Anyone here how things went over the weekend? Creel report looked decent for the one day but not sure where they were checking.

Re: Riffe Lake License requirements - Do you need Columbia Endorsement?

Thanks guys... I've been fishing there for years and read the regs every year and know them pretty well. I didn't want to dismiss an employee at the license counter of a retailer I would hope knows best.. Just wanted to throw it out there for anyone else who might be getting similar misinformation. ...

Riffe Lake License requirements - Do you need Columbia Endorsement?

I bought a license for my sister in law last weekend from out of state to fish Riffe over the weekend. The guy at the license counter was adamant that a Columbia endorsement was necessary as well as a catch record. I've fished Riffe for years and never bought the endorsement and know for a fact the ...

Re: South Sound Salt Water Pinks Browns Pt./Redondo/Pt Defiance?

Thanks Spokey9... I might give it a shot or wait a couple more weeks.. If I don't hit the salt I'll probably head to Riffe and see how bad the launch is

South Sound Salt Water Pinks Browns Pt./Redondo/Pt Defiance?

I have fished the pinks from the light house before but haven't targeted them in the boat yet.. Anyone have luck this early? I was hoping to just get on the water and let my wife and kids pitch jigs or buzz bombs. When does the salt start to show fish?

Re: Alta Lake?

We were in Chelan last year and hit Alta Lake as well, we have a friend who lives there. I didn't even know it had been stocked and accidentally hit a kok and couldn't believe it.. Fished for a couple more hours after switching to my kok gear and downrigger and nailed them.. It's a short troll, but ...

I heard the trolling isn't bad but the launches are suspect. Anyone have any pics of the launch?? I know they are usable but don't know how adventurous they are??

Re: Rife fishing bridge?

Riffe has land locked silvers, kings and some steelhead as well.. Yes, there is a parasite is a lot of the fish, but they are safe to eat and not toxic to the fish. You'll find them in the body cavity if you gut them. I've found the silvers to be great but some of the kings can get a little mushy if...

8/1 Chelan family trip.. Koks biting this time of year?

I'm heading to lake Chelan Sunday 7/30 for the week.. I'm taking the Bayliner for some water fun but debating if it is worth my time to take the downriggers and trolling gear.. Is there any decent fishing this time of year other than the lake trout?? Just looking for some family friendly fishing. I'...

Re: NEW MEMBERS - INTRODUCE YOURSELF!

My name is Myles.. 37 and live in Puyallup area. Fishing/hunting is a way to unplug and get away. My 3 kids love it as well and some of my best days are when they are catching fish and I never get a chance to tough a rod doing the baiting, tying, driving and netting... My dad introduced me to huntin...
