Re: all these silly adds

They are annoying but Mike and co. have to make money for themselves and keep the site running somehow. They don’t charge us and it’s a good site for information overall. Fair trade off in my opinion. Thank you for that. The monthly server costs are pretty high alright. Aaron recently did some adju...

Re: Fishing pole repair suggestions?

agree, you can totally do this repair, pretty easy. It won't look like factory new but it will perform just fine. Paying to have it done may not be worth it to be honest. BTW, in my experience, running bare metal on the guide has never been an issue. Guess I've been lucky!

Forum back online (obviously...)

Hi Everyone,

Sorry for the longggg time offline. We had to get some point of attack issues resolved which were causing some serious forum and site issues. A special thanks to Aaron Borg for fixing them and hopefully this issue has been put to bed going forward.

Re: Beaver Lake question

I have talked with an enforcement person about this issue on Rattlesnake lake. No gas means no gas , not bagged up or tilted up. You'll also see HP restrictions on some small lakes. In that case is OK to have a bigger motor, provided you do not run it.

Re: What to do ... with Chum Salmon

I personally use a wet brine and get good results from chum salmon. As to at what point the meat is no good, other than catching a fish with obvious rotting flesh, you won't know until you cut it open. THe flesh would be mushy and extra pale (it's pale to start with)

Re: Transom Question... Maybe?

motor well lip railing?

It may serve a structural function to some degree, although I think the entire motor well structure does.
