RE:No Gas Motor Allowed Lakes
The rule is changing and next year you will be able to fish with two poles so the state doesn’t agree with your theory on 2 poles. Back to this hoodlum that had his motor attached to his boat. If you want to raise your hand and tell the teacher that somebody is breaking a law, you probably shouldn't...

RE:No Gas Motor Allowed Lakes
Thats another rule I have never understood. You can only fish with 1 pole. I only fish with 1 but why not 2. What does that possibly hurt? It's a ridiculous rule that will be no more starting next year. It's about time as well. It was a ridiculous rule that served no purpose. As for the rule in ques...

RE:No Gas Motor Allowed Lakes
Are we all so perfect that we start crying to WDFW even when the most ridiculous rules were broken? Personally I think that rule is one of many rules that are just overkill. Didn't sound like he wast hurting anybody or dumping gallons of oil in that lake. If the guy is taking more than his limit tha...

I will be camping down at Mt. Rainier. Still don't see how you guys do this. Overgrown farm ponds, bank to bank boats, a bunch of hand fed trout. I don't see the magnicance of this event. But I wasn't raised here. Go get em...

RE:Joes - Outdoor store's Closing Lots of great clearence stuff
I stopped in to the one in Mt. Vernon today and it's pretty crappy. I can honestly say I saw better prices there before they were going out of business. I go back and forth from Sportsmans and Joe's comparing prices and I know for example Fireline went up in price almost $5 before they give you 20% ...

RE:Best spots for Walleye fishing in Washington?
Rufus is some of the best scenery you can ask for and it will be a very quiet trip if you go during the middle of the week. You won't have any other boats out there but you are always at the mercy of that dam. If they are moving water it can be great. If they aren't, IMHO you are wasting your time t...

RE:crappie in lake union and lake washington
I was pretty sure I knew where to fish but I couldnt find the right boat launch. Got tired of fighting Seattle traffic with a boat and went to Lake Stevens where one launch was smothered by 15,000 kayak enthusiasts and the other launch was wall to wall wake boats. I fished it for about an hour with ...

RE:Bank Fishin' for Walleye... What bait to use?
Dear God William do you work for Al Linder or something. Trust me when I tell you Gulp and Gulp Alive, minnows, crawlers and leeches DO NOT outfish live bait. Sure they will 1 time in 10 outfish live bait but more than likely that will have more to do with the talent at the end of the rod more than ...

RE:walleyes?
Walleye are not going to eat as many salmon smolt and trout as you think. Nobody is bringing Walleye across the mountains to do their own stocking. Trout fishing is one of the most ridiculously easy fishes to catch. This state spends millions to promote a fish that cannot sustain itself. Do we reall...

RE:Rufus Woods being overfished?
Well something has drastically changed at that part of the river since this summer because I was up there walleye fishing and you couldn't keep the damn things off your line. They were annoying. Personally I would like to see them clean that out but I realize that is a hugely minority thought there....

RE:walleyes?
Why is this state so obsessed with a fish that cannot sustain itself. We need to stock lakes with trout, babysit the salmon so those mean ole walleyes dont eat them, and yet these fish still cannot survive. Even these knew engineered fish that cannot reproduce. We actually have people saying we have...

RE:Bowmount Humminbird Fish Finder
ITs black and white. I can barely make out anything but it doesnt change when I do the brightness. I talked with someone else that told me the diagnostics is only an interal circuit check. They told me I am pretty much stuck getting the screen replaced. It cost 103 bucks to get that fixed. It's a fa...

Bowmount Humminbird Fish Finder
I am having a problem with my humminbird bowmount. The problem is I can barely see anything on the screen. The best way i can do it is to turn the lights off in the garage, turn the light on to the humminbird and then I could barely read what it was saying. At first it wasn't getting enough power. F...

RE:county maps showing locations of lakes
When I first moved to Washington I bought a book called Washington Fishing by Terry Rudnick. It list by region every lake in the state, including the ones on private lands, and it gives exact directions to each lake. It tells you all about each Lake and what facilities are near by and how far the ne...

Cassidy Lake and Roesiger would be your best bets for both Crappie and Largemouth. The Crappie are a little tough to come by until about an hour or so before dark and then its about as easy as it gets. Nothing big. I have never caught a bass out of here over 1 lb but I don't fish for them either. La...

RE:Perch advice...?
Once you catch one, cut out its eyeball and put that on the hook. Perch Eyes will last about 5 or 6 fish before it finally falls off. 10 feet of water just about anywhere in Lake Washington. They won't be big though.

I dont have a great batting average on the Columbia River walleye fishery. Ive caught 7 in 10 days of fishing. 5 of them 1 day, 2 of them another, skunked 8 other days. Its been a very very unkind river to me. I know some peole that claim their worst day ever on the Columbia River is 11. Then again ...

RE:westside walleye?
Ive been fishing for Walleyes religiously since I was 10 years old and I have never heard of anyone saying they are a hard fighting fish. Most of your bigger fish just feel like dead weight. Many times I have brought up walleye not even sure if it is a fish or a stick. Some will put up a fight but t...
