Re: Snake river walleye (how far?)

Can anyone post an update of these fisheries? Have they been getting better for the eyes as predicted?

Wallula?

I am meeting my brother in Tri Cities in a couple of weeks for a few days of fishing, and he expressed some interest in going after walleye. I know that they are in most, if not all of the waters of the Columbia Basin, but I have very little experience fishing anything but bass in the stretches of r...

Re: Bass and Baitfish?

Another good source to check is the trout stocking reports from the state hatcheries. They will list which lakes are stocked with fry, which become food for predators both fish and fowl. But just about every body of water will have "baitfish" of some sort, that often will be schools of any species o...

Re: Check Out The Bass Tackle @ Limit Out Marine

They do indeed have THE stuff you need for bass fishing in this state. No messin around with a bunch of crap that is useless, just the stuff that works, alot of which is made right here in Washington. I hear Russ has a bunch more stuff on order, and also the Tag Watson jigs will be landing soon! My ...

Re: What is your #1 technique that U use to catch bass

hm.. after doing some research online, i can't find a single trace of it ever being made in 7.2:1. even according to daiwa's site the only reel they had in 7.2:1 was their z series casting reels.. interesting.. The first year they made the Tierra, you could get it in a 7.2, the next year they came ...

Re: Brand New Method For Wacky Rigging Large Stickbaits

Marcantonio had some monster sencos at his big fish seminar that I believe were either 8 or 9 inch, made by Yamamoto. I have some 12" sencos that are made by some folks down south. You can get big stick baits, just not in the stores around here. If you want, I can give you some links to some folks t...

I tried to attach the flyer, but it is in PDF, and I get the message "The extension pdf is not allowed". So if anyone can tell me how I can attach a pdf file that would be awesome.

Re: What is your #1 technique that U use to catch bass

If I could only have one combo in the boat all year long it would be: 7' MH jig & worm casting rod by Trinity Custom Rods, with a Daiwa Tierra 7.2:1 casting reel, spooled with 12# McCoys 100 fluorocarbon. If I could only have one bait tied to the line it would be a 3/8 0z shakey head jig with a Ber...

Re: Winter bassin'

One thing to remember, especially about American, is that those fish you locate in deep water stuck to structure, are going to be the least likely fish to bite. The key on American, like most lakes, is to find the baitfish. Bass will move up to feed in the winter, just not as frequently, and not as ...

Re: Freeze your bASS Blast

Thanks for the input Dez. I will make sure that we have fizzing needles available for anyone who needs one. This tournament will have a 3 fish per boat limt, which is also an effort to reduce fish mortality. But it is very important to know how to properly handle fish this time of year.

RE:New to Seattle, looking to find some fellow bass fishermen

Welcome Chuck! I would suggest joining a club. That's gonna be your best bet for finding open back seats on a regular basis. There are alot of good clubs in the Seattle area to choose from. Also put a post on the fishin buddies thread. There are alot of talented and friendly anglers in western Washi...

RE:This Time Of Year Pattern?

Find the forage, you'll find the fish. This time of year could be shallow, could be 35 ft., but until the water gets cold, they will still be out following the food around. Sometimes the big fish will be suspended in open water near schools of baitfish, not even near to a place that you would normal...
