RE:New website working for you?
I've created a monster! I have a HUGE amount of fixes and little adjustments/tweaks and additions that I've worked on for the past few hours but I can't upload them to the server now! If I do it will most likely result in a nasty error screen for quite a few people. Guess I'll have to wait till 3am ...

RE:Text Box Out Of Window
Marc,
It is a problem with the way Safari renders the web page. Unfortunately I cannot write 10 different versions of the website to cater to every browser but if you will remind me of these types of visual problems at a later date I will do my best to fix them.

RE:photo question
Go ahead and post a picture with your report if there is something you think the readers will want to see. our software resizes and compresses your photos when you upload them so don't worry too much about that. As a rule, our software resizes to 1024x768 at around 120k.. only if the pic is larger t...

Sometimes it has to get worse before it can get better. I'm receiving regular feedback from many of you now letting me know of problems. Sometimes, in order to fix those problems, I have to make a larger problem and fix that one as fast as I can. What this means is that occasionaly the entire site w...

Verification Emails when Registering
I can't really tell if we have a problem with this or not. I've registered a dozen test users over the last few weeks and I get the verification email every single time. Most people that have registered are now verified but I have had to do this manually a few times today. If you feel you have waite...

RE:New website working for you?
You are probably correct... people SHOULD be out fishing today... But it's like spending 2 months putting together an awesome party and sending out 1000's of invitations, and only 30 people show up. No matter. I've just finished packing the boat and I'll be leaving in an hour or two for some afterno...

New website working for you?
It's been about 12 hours since I made the DNS changeover and we are starting to see a lot of traffic. At this point about 30 of you have registered with the new site. Awesome! However, I am concerned with the lack of actual activity and/or feedback from you guys! So far there has been no reports pos...

Whew... it had me worried. That would be the LAST thing I would want to have a problem with today.

RE:Not able to log-in from home
One thing that concerns me is that there is no OK button on the Login page... only Login and Lost Password. When you click Login and it takes you to the Login page can you please copy the link from the address bar into the forum here so I can see if you are even on the right page? I just logged into...

Bead Lake - Stevens County
I wanted to go fishing there last Monday but the gate was closed when I got there. I just called them and apparently they must have opened the gate for the season shortly after I left. I'ts no longer open restricted hours either. It will be open till the end of October.

RE:Year Round Lakes
The way I see it, MOST lakes are open year round. Unless I miss my mark, if it isn't listed in the regs it is either a private lake or open year-round.... yes? no?

RE:Year Round Lakes
100% Skunked. The reason I think this is a good idea is that it takes HOURS to find the lakes that are open year round... I just thought that creating a page called the "Year-Round Lake Index" was a good idea... one that needed to come with a disclaimer in RED BOLD letters stating that they need to ...

I really should be getting to bed... but I think I figured out where I can go. Sullivan Lake is another big deep lake that I can troll (need to try out my new gear!) and it is open all year.

We need to add another field to the lake databse for lakes that are open year round. I'm setting out to Bead Lake tomorrow morning with no clear idea of whether or not I can get in. The data for Bead Lake is OLD... REALLY OLD. The WDWF site mentions nothing about the hours or the gate or the restric...
