Re: Sort order of reports

I think I understand what you're saying. They're ordered by newest to oldest, but the newest ones, as in today's retorts, are ordered oldest to newest. I'll fix it.

Re: Adding Yakima river to river report drop downs...

Well..all areas are in their "official" county, not decided by us, but the usgs. That being said, would it help if there was an auto-fill search option?

Re: Hot Spots for CR Reports

This is exactly what I've been working on for the last 24 hours. We have 137 areas out of almost 15,000 that don't have GPS coordinates, so the HotSpot tool hasn't been working. Sorry to day, but I wasn't aware of that fact until yesterday. once I get the GPS coordinates entered, you will be able to...

Re: Replying to a reply on a report

And if I make a comment, and refresh the page, my comment is posted again, and again, and again, however many times I click on refresh. lol As with every form on the internet, a warning pops up if you try to refresh a page that has already been submitted. It will re-post the info to the server, the...

I've also added links to the Hot Spots from most of the Index lists, and I've added Species and Ratings filters to the Hot Spot index.

Re: Replying to a reply on a report

The bug was actually that you can't reply to a reply... you can only reply to a comment. To place a comment under a reply, you have to reply to the parent comment.

Re: Lake Info?

The Lake Index wasn't there. Just added. I think the issue here is that people are too focused on the phrasing I chose for this site update. All Reports is an index of area indexes. After choosing an Area Index, you get an index of that area TYPE. In your case, you're looking for the Lake Index, whi...

Re: Lake Info?

Up top. Main menu. Click on Reports. All Reports. Choose your area type (lake, marine, river...) and go from there. Find the area, filter the results by species. Granted, the specific nuances of the various pages have changed. For instance, you can't filter the reports by month anymore (something we...

Re: Who's having issues with navigating website via cell phone?

I've made several menu modifications today. Stick working on some imperfections, but I think the overall site menu on mobile is a lot better now. Add to that the links towards the top of the forum I added for Unread, New and Active topics... no need to go to the menu for those anymore. I'll get back...

Re: Who's having issues with navigating website via cell phone?

I'm beginning to implement the changes to make navigation easier on a phone. I've replaced the main menu system to start. For some reason I'm seeing that a double tap is needed to open the menu from the forum on SOME iPhones. Not sure why that is happening just yet. Is that happening for you? If so,...

Re: Lake Info?

Understandable. However, the presorted order of an all encompassing list should deter one from finding it useful. the sort order doesn't alter the content of the list. All Photos, stats, charts, maps, hotspots, heat maps, and descriptions are available from that page. And a link back to the reports ...

Re: Lake Info?

You didn't see anything? The only thing on your list of things that is not currently there is the boat launch info, but it will return. Look at the charts! They have what you're looking for, no? What area are you looking up?

Re: New section for fishing rule changes/questions?

Agreed. If the state had an electronic method of accessing the rules/regs/updates we would certainly be interested, but they don't. Seems odd to me in this day and age to NOT have that information available via a web service for developers like myself to access.
