Re: FALL!!! WOOHOO

Ive been catching a lot of my fish on offshore grass or ends of deep docks, almost the same spots as summer. You can find some shallow. Baitfish presentations and smaller offernings seem to be working. Dont let the bad weather scare you, the fishing can be great! [thumbsup]

Re: Pitching with baitcaster

I'll pitch any bait I am throwing if I am trying to make a more stealthy and/or accurate cast, especially close quarters.. even big swimbaits. When you get good you can pretty much drop it on a dime!

Re: Small plastic worms, crawdads, etc

Texas rigs are a great way to rig plastics and probably one of the most common. Carolina, drop shot, and wacky rigs are also good ones to learn. Can be used to catch fish under most conditions. As for Texas rigs, weightless they can be twitched or dead sticked over weed beds or if you want to fish t...

Fish shallow water with good deep water access. Most my success is in the 1-3 ft range. As far as baits fishing machine nailedit

Re: Bass Lure Colors

I try to use natural colors most of the time, but a little blue or purple or chartreuse for contrast doesn't hurt in dirtier waters. Black/blue & green pumpkin are two that work pretty much anywhere. Pbj too.

Re: Cold weather small water tactics for bass

I would fish near break lines or obvious pieces of cover that have good deep water access(deep being relative to the lake). Big profile baits or reeling cranks into the weeds and tearing them out. It's hard to stay on top of the fish in lakes with little for them to relate to on the bottom from my e...

Re: Where to Bass from the bank...

Waughop was nice, saw several big bass but couldn't entice any bites. I'm gonna go ahead and blame it on the post front conditions I was fishing in.. caught a decent one at bradley the other day though and had some nic topwater strikes. Think I'm starting to dial that pplace in.

Where to Bass from the bank...

I'm in pierce county but willing to drive to neighboring counties and further if its worth my time. I have a buddy with a small boat but our work schedules rarely allow us to fish together so most of the time I'm stuck fishing from shore. Can anyone suggrst some lakes that you can have good success ...
