RE:Looking for a little advice

Hi OK,

If you want to get a bit aways from the shore spots, the Waterfront Activities Center rents canoes and rowboats. With one its easy and pretty access into the weedy area under 520 and around the Arboretum.

RE:Need 5 boats in one

Have you looked at the fish/ski model bassboats? Cabelas has the Stratos sitting in their store if you want to look (or drop a bundle). The flatter bottom may not be great for salmon, but they are nice boats. Front and rear casting deck, seats 5 easily and the dogs can be up front, plenty of power, ...

RE:Motor and family advice

Thanks G-Man. I'm looking at 17-19 feet. I wanted a fish and ski (like a Triton!!), but can't find one in my price range.

Motor and family advice

Hi Guys, So I've succumbed to pressure from the family to get a boat they can tube/ski behind. Fortunately I have found numerous boats in my (low) price range, but now a difference of opinion has arisen. The females in the family want an I/O while the males in the family want to see a massive black ...

Need advice on a fish and ski/tube boat

Hi Guys, I'm looking for advice on a new (to me) boat. The family isn't excited about my 14' Lund and wants something that will pull a tube and maybe ski behind. I don't want to lose my fishing boat (2 boats is not an option). Must be able to hold 5 people (which leaves out the bass boats) and I nee...

RE:Looking for places to fish off the shore with my daughter...

Hi Mle ii, You might check out Enatai Beach Park in Bellevue for perch using worms or perch meat. http://www.ci.bellevue.wa.us/enatai_beach.htm They have a nice dock there and I've never seen more than a couple of people on it. If your daughter is like my boys (7 and 10) if there's no bites before s...

Snoqualmie Pink Report??

I've seen a lot of fishing reports on the Snohomish, but none on the Snoqualmie. Has anyone fished it? I'm going tomorrow (and will report). Thanks.

RE:Cape Disappointment Fishing

Thought I'd reply with the results, or lack thereof. The kiddos wanted to play in the surf, and with the possible riptides, that left being distracted by catching a fish out. We went on the jetty and here's my report (posted for the Columbia River): Didn't fish myself because my kids don't have the ...

RE:Silver Lake Resort, Castle Rock

A nice alternative camping spot is the nearby Seaquest state park. It offers more privacy, depending on the site. It does not have lake access to your boat or fishing (there's a boardwalk through the marsh area for bird watching), but you can launch at the resort and I think you may be able to moor ...

Cape Disappointment Fishing

We're having a family camping trip at Cape Disappointment in early August. Supposedly there's surf perch and crabbing off the jetty there and there is an O'Neil Lake that isn't listed on this site. Does anyone have any advice on fishing there, particularly off the jetty? Or suggestions for a good Il...

RE:Perch advice...?

Hi All, Like Bscman, I want to get hooked up with perch (or actually just want my kids to think I can get them into a fishing hole). We spent a couple hours on Saturday in the East Channel and up to Groat Point, which I thought were the prime spots on the east side of Lake Washington. Not even a bit...

Ethanol

I've heard a lot about ethanol in gas destroying fiberglass tanks. Does anyone know its effects on plastic tanks and outboard motors? Or where to get gas around Seattle that doesn't have ethanol? (I searched but didn't see this on any prior post). Thanks.
