Re: Bottom Fishing in Puget Sound

Ok, last tip - if you havent heard of this its a great resource for pre-fishing in the salt and in many of the lakes around Wa. Much easier - and cheaper - than dragging out paper charts or sitting in the boat looking at a small GPS chart screen on the night before a trip :) http://webapp.navionics...

Re: Spokane(long) long lake

Does any one know if the launch past tum tum is open? You know the one once you enter the park(witch I can not remember who operates it) you head down the big hill over looking the water to the launch. I do believe there is a fee there too. I like this lake but that is the only launch I am comforta...

Re: Lake Meridian Bass Fishing

Haven't fished that one, but looking at the map the south end looks pretty shallow and would likely be a good place to start this time of year. Sorry for the delay Idstud. They are no longer in the testing phase for the Garmin charts but they can now be purchased. This was a screen shot taken of the Navionics Charts with a Garmin.

Attention Garmin users: Beta test Navionics SonarCharts

Below is a message from Navionics regarding the new SonarCharts feature for Garmin users. Navionics SonarCharts is now available for Garmin users, beginning at the start of 2015. Re: Banks Lake Info. please and thanks.

Well heck, the lake is big enough I am sure, I will be arriving around day break, so what launch will be less used by the pros by the bowl? Or is it a just in my best judgement to stay off the water. I have a 14 bass boat with enough experience to be out. I have been out a lot on the potholes while...

Long Lake (Lake Spokane) mapping project

If you fish Long Lake (Lake Spokane) you know maps are few and far between. Actually I have never seen one in person. The Spokane Bass Club had an event on Long Lake on August 9th where we had five boats logging sonar for a few hours. The results are in, here are a few screen shots of the lake with ...

Re: Lake Entiat Columbia Smallmouth

Skunked! We checking in at Hooked on Toys and they suggested fishing around Turtle Rock (the island just off Lincoln Rock park). We tried two spots--bouncing rigs (they suggested jigs) off the rock cliffs about 3/4 of the way upstream and the stream that flows in at the downstream end. The cliffs l...

How was it? I am headed over to Chelan this weekend and might check out this area too. Looks pretty good on the map, right by a boat launch too. Re: Anyone shore fish Lake Washington for Bass?

I would go into Lake Union if I was to fish from shore (if you can find access, but there are a few parks there). I fished a tournament on Lake Washington and it was tough even from a boat. Here is a link to my recap and what I was using: http://tbrinks.blogspot.com/2014/07/lake-washington-tbf-recap...

Re: lake pateros bass?

Get a chart from a map store, there is one in Bellevue, it'll show you the contours/depths, shoals, navigation channel. Go from there. This should help some. There are a bunch of resources online to get maps or even with a mobile app. I would start by Washburn Island if I was going there, looks lik...

Re: ELOIKA LAKE Bass Help

Sorry this is late but the fishing should be excellent right now as the grass is to the top and it is time to fish with a frog. I usually only fish here first thing in the season (at ice off) because it is usually one of the first to turn on, but they are catching them pretty good now with frogs. Li...
