RE:My setup

JT26,

That is one Shweet boat! And I'm not talking about your dad's. I bet when he was 14 he didn't have one like you've got.

RE:fishing technique for using real crawfish

Hold up fellas....... I sure do appreciate your replies, but I should have clarrified that I didn't mean live crawfish. You can buy live C.F. at the market in Seattle, but by the time you get them home, and then to the lake, they are not alive. Buy hey, any crawfish is a shweet looking meal. If you ...

How far are you willing to go from Redmond? I can think of lots of stuff, but some will take an overnigt, which is all the better if you ask me.

RE:Big Headed Trout

I believe you said that you were fishing alpine lakes in the cascades. I grew up fishing in those types of areas. It was almost always my observation that alpine lk. trout were both more skinny and more aggresive for their size than lowland lake trout. I kind of viewed that as that those lakes are f...

Picture corner

On the Home Page... the picture corner thing on the left is something I really enjoy. Somehow I thought there would be a way to access the bank of pics. Is this possible? Maybe I just have to rely on what loads up itself?

thanks,
chris

RE:BASSACKWARDS - VOTED "MOST CREATIVE HANDLE"

Yes, Yes, I have to give a shout to Fishinislife for opening up some really creative threads that have united people closer together on this board. I'm talking about the other thread regarding "Tell a little about yourself" or something like that. This is a very cool board and it's nice to read a li...

RE:Bait Boxes?

I know it seems kind of silly, but even in an ice chest they seem to take on water. Of course one option would be to put them in a small tupperware, and then put that in a small ice chest. I was just curious if anyone has purchased a bait box that is effective.

Bait Boxes?

Well..... I've been trying my best to get into some serious bass fishing techniques,, but I just gotta admit it... I'm a sucka for fishing with night crawlers. My problem is when it's this warm out I always have a hard time keeping the crawlers healthy. I've tried putting their little styro. contain...

Wanted: 25 HP Long Shaft outboard

I am looking for a 25 HP Long Shaft motor for my 14' Lund Deep V. I would prefer something within the last 12-12 years, low hours etc.
I am in Seattle, but I would look at something either on the Olympic Penn. or up down the I-5 corridor.
Go ahead and PM me.

Thanks,
Chris

RE:My Favorite Beer is.... You must be 21 to enter

Oh man, this just bites. I quit drinking about 6 months ago, and boy did I like the porters. There is a particular beer from Poland it's called Boss. Don't go for the lighter one. I know I will sound like a beer snob here, but if there is one good reason to live near a metropolitan area, it's access...

RE:BASSACKWARDS - VOTED "MOST CREATIVE HANDLE"

Very cool thread.. I always look at these names and wonder what the person was thinking at the time. I use Quadradomus because I have always been a big fan of audio gear, audiophile sort of stuff. I was on a board at the time for people who collected Quad (4 channel stuff) For those of you too young...

fishing technique for using real crawfish

We eat a lot of crawfish at my house due to my wife being from Louisiana. I don't know why I didn't think of it before, but of course I should be fishing with crawfish tails! Duh! So I did just that the other day at Whitehorse lake near Loomis. I am wondering what sort of style do you use to present...

RE:Crawdads

For a buoy line weight, use the standard line weight that is for a crab line. It will be in the crab pot section at any sporting goods store. It will keep the line vertical to the surface and you won't have to mess around with tying things up.

Yes, I too really rely on it as a view of the bottom, structures, weeds etc. But still I was curious as to the field of view. Thanks for all your thoughts.

fish finder field of view

I was wondering if someone can tell me what you think the field of view on most FF's is? I have an Eagle Lexmark 320 the transducer is mounted on the bottom of the transom. I realize that the manual probably says this somewhere but things are a mess around here. so I am asking here. I am thinking th...

RE:NEW MEMBERS - INTRODUCE YOURSELF!

Hello, my name is Chris. I live in the North Seattle area. I am 43 y/o. I will fish for anything that swims. Primarily I have fished for trout. Mostly a handful of Eastern Wa. lakes near Tonasket. Also the local trout lakes within an hour of Seattle. I also enjoy bottom fishing in the salt water. If...

RE:MOST EMBARRESSING FISHING MOMENT

Well, I don't know if this qualifies as an "Embarrasing" moment or not,, but I was certainly embarrased before my own self. Just three days ago thurs. I was trailering my boat from Bremerton to Sequim. I have an Eagle Fishmark 320 fish finder. This is not one of the portable FF's but I refuse to dri...

Not sure if Flying Soldier is Aaron from Kirkland?? But anyway,, a couple of things. I was just up hiking in the area which was spoken about previously, Monte Cristo and all that stuff up on the Mountain loop Hwy. past Granite falls. There def. are a lot of lakes up there and I have fished quite a f...
