Anyone have a trailer dolly?

Does anyone have any experience with the trailer hand dollys that are out there? I will likely need one as I move into a larger boat. My access to my garage is slightly uphill, and cannot exactly be backed into with the vehicle. I’m just wondering if you have a model that you like, and if you feel l...

Re: Brands of welded hull boats..?

Thanks Matt. Yeah, even though I’ve been boating about 15 years now. (I thought I kinda new what I was talking about) In the past couple weeks I feel like I’ve been learning a lot. I’m a little embarrassed to admit.. I have always stated that my Lund was a ‘Deep V hull’. Uh... nope! Just got schoole...

Re: Snow...

Man oh man I am sick of the snow... we have some where over a foot here in Marysville and expecting who knows how much more. I never thought I'd say I am sick of snow and bored out of my mind lol. The construction company I work for is on week 2 of no work, luckily I'm salary. I can get around with...

Yes, even during this slow winter time frame, I have seen a larger selection of boats in the general Oregon area.

2-stroke motors, huh??

I am just curious in the modern day of 2019, what are people’s thoughts of owning a 2-stroke motor? I was looking at a pretty nice boat, all things considered... except it comes with a “Low-hours”. 2006 Evinrude 2- stroke. I come from a 4-stroke EFI motor background. The whole thought of mixing gas/...

Re: Brands of welded hull boats..?

Morning Chris, Have you made any decisions? Something enclosed with a heater would be nice. I’m too cheap to go for an enclosed boat, and I keep it in my garage, so certain height limits. I am gathering targets of welded hull boat models. I am not ‘dead set’ against a really low hours riveted boat,...

Bacon guy... just click on RSeas name... you will get an option to either send him a PM (personal message) or to email him. Usually email is the best bet, because some folks aren’t dialed in to checking their PM’s on here... nobody will miss an email. But RSeas is well versed in these things. Either...

Re: the grind of sorting the fishing gear

I hear ya on that Spokey.. I have to do these grand-sorting moments, where I make piles of stuff to give to friends, and piles that are purely thrown away. If I ever actually sell something and ship it, then I usually pack in a whole bunch of extras just to get rid of things. Sorry to see you moving...

Would you expect anything else from me? [cool] Hewescraft 16' Open Fisherman Hewesfisher, I was actually hoping very much that you would post up on this thread. Yeah, that Hewescraft 160 Openfisher... that is exactly the layout I’m talking about. The length is a perfect slide into the garage, it do...

Brands of welded hull boats..?

Man, oh man... I am going through a mid life crisis over what my preferred fishing vessel is. I’ve fished out of a 14’ Lund deep V hull riveted boat, x 11 years. Finally a year ago the hull gave out due to corrosion. After 11 years and A LOT of time in the salt, I felt like I got my time and money o...

Call North 40, in Omak, speak with the fishing Dept. Tyler Hicks will be able to tell you about Omak’s Conditions, probably anyone in the fishing Dept can.

Re: Limit vs area

Quick question. If I fish in an area where one fish is allowed, am I able to boat over to another area where two fish are allowed and catch an additional fish? Can I ask what lake etc. this is in? I’m just curious, as I’m not really familiar with a lake that has one regulation on limits in one area...

Re: Lake Washington Boat Launch in Kenmore

You are not crazy.. it is quite shallow going out of the slough. Unless you are in some crazy large boat, you should be just fine though. Just use your sonar to stay as deep as possible. You should be able to keep it above 2’ , and very soon it opens up. FYI.. depending on your fishing destination e...

Annual Sturgeon Kayak fishing event, Willamette River, this weekend.

I just got back from a sort of Kayak flash mob Sturgeon fishing event on the Willamette River, in Portland. Just had to say this is one super fun thing to get into, and I only caught one sturgeon actually. But many people caught MULTIPLE. I got such a crack-up out of this one Australian guy.. I was ...

Re: Rats taking residence within vehicle engine compartment??

Second on the dryer sheets rodents dont like the smell I stuff them all over my camper and boat and show cars in the winter in my shop. I used to keep a cover on my Chevelle in the shop during winter. The dark secluded area was perfect for them (mice not rats but all the same really) they cost me a...
