I like: 1. Nearly Dry 2. Low Flow 3. Average Flow 4. High Flow 5. Flooding Because most guys aren't going to know the flow rates when they enter reports. I remember, bare hooks, right? Both lakes can be challenging and both can yield some prime quality fish. I'm no expert on either lake, but my sense is lake Washingotn is the better of the two for trout, but that's just me

Lake Samm can be tough. I certainly haven't figured it out and don't fish it that often (too big, too busy with skiers). But the trout are very nice quality when you catch them. I'm not much for trout (except I agree lake Roosevet trout are THE BEST). I will keep an occasional 2-3 small bass from a lake that is heavily populated with them for a bass sandwich (which my son likes a lot). But I never keep the upper slot bass. I hope guys keep the comments civil (and most have)...

For sure one thing that really helps us is anglers telling resorts and businesses about WashingtonLakes.com. I know of a couple resorts we have picked up as sponsors because of this.

there's a couple Whatcom bass articles in the story section (use the search feature). Generally, north end of the lake is developed, pier type fishing, south end (WDFW ramp) is more undeveloped shoreline.
