daily limit is two coho. Area 8.2 and 10 you can keep clipped or unclipped fish, but Area 9 you can only keep clipped. So much for simplifying the regs…

Anyone else getting a different interpretation?

Re: Eagle Claw Featherlight Kokanee/Casting rods are here!

I don't jig kokanee but can imagine they would be too limber and heavy for a night of jigging.

Re: Eagle Claw Featherlight Kokanee/Casting rods are here!

I have the Okuma magda linecounter paired up with the Eagle Claws. The good - they are inexpensive and stand up to casual guest anglers that don't fish on a regular basis. I like your thought process...when it becomes a task it ceases to be an enjoyable past-time. I've had the same issue in the "quest" to catch a day's limits, forgetting it's the experience, not the results, that matter most. A break is a good thing sometimes!

Re: Pontoon boat setup

We have several videos that review different floats on the Skykomish. Check out the video section. Your questions make me think it would be a good article on how to set up a pontoon boat for floats.

Re: Twinkle Shirts with Squids

As an insert but for me not the Needlefish, just the standard Ace Hi Fly. I do put some beads above the top hook in order to get the hooks a little further back. I know everyone these days is into short squid leaders behind flashers. Each to his own but I like longer leaders; 36" for Coho and 42 ev...
