RE:Banks Lake Walleye
It is true the North end of Banks is fairly good for the Wiley Wally. However in Late MAY there are several areas that startup. The South end around Coulee City straight west of Big Wallys is very good between the 2 north south ridges at 25 - 35 feet depth. Fish the edges of these as deep as 60 feet...

RE:Great Fishing Lake
Let me offer a good target even in the slow winter months. Black Lake in Olympia. Good Trout but also Bass, Crappie, and even Cats. You said you didn't mind going a far piece. 60 miles on average for your area. Also look at American Lake in Pierce county at Lakewood, that is 25 miles closer than Bal...

WWWC (Western Washington Walleye Club) adrift in 2009
The club still exists, but like a boat with no rudder it is adrift. No elections were conducted. The president nominee refused to serve. No VP would step up to the bar. No Secretary was drafted. Only the Treasurer and the Webmaster are left standing. Even the raffle guy has quit. We shall build a Ca...

So, hinds2912,
You got board with Walleye and had to have a hook and worm fix? See you on NWWalleye. Hey are you going to join in the Freeze Out at the end of February at Seton Groves?

RE:walleyes?
Personally I would be more worried about Northern Pike Minnows than Walleye when you talk about smolt mortality. Or maybe even worse the dang Cormorants. Open a Corm belly around the Columbia and you will find them fat on smolt. Walleyes love Northern Pike Minnows or Squaw Fish (same species) like c...

Mid-Columbia Walleye in Fall
The Mid Columbia from McNarey down to Bonneville Pool are turning out good fish. Weather permitting, fall and pre-spring are the Walleye High points along this part of the river. Who likes what along this chunk of the Mighty Columbia?

RE:pend oreille walleye
There was an expeditionary floatilla from NWWalleye in the area 2 weeks ago October 18, 2008. Check the threads on this area at www.northwestwalleye.com for memebers that can give you straight scoop on where they caught theirs. There were some good sized fish.

RE:Vancouver Walleye's
Septembver 10 was a good time to be out around the Washougal Reef. Walleye tend to do best from August to the End of October on the lower Columbia. 1. Be aware of the tide in the area you want to target. Go when the tide is about to turn out. It is a45 minute Golden Hour. 2. Areas around Kalama wher...
