RE:NEW: Report Comment Watcher
Hmm, I must be doing something wrong or ??? When I click on Comment Watcher it takes me to a screen with a table containing the following tabs: Read (changes color after being read), date, time, partial comment, and lastly, fresh or saltwater. I can't tell from here which comments are posted for lak...

I like this feature Aaron, but if there were an easy way to add the body of water being reported on it would be better.

RE:Whats pulling the boat?
Well, I have to say, Ford still builds the best trucks! S'ok me and the painter go round and round on the Ford/Chevy thing everyday. At least we both agreee on one thing, we'd both buy a Dodge before either of us would buy the "other" make. And I won't ever buy an import brand truck no matter where ...

RE:Boat seats
I'd agree with Sam if it was a smaller boat, but not on a 14 footer. I had a 14' Hewescraft open fisherman (3 bench seats) that was outfitted with two swivel seats - one at the "helm" position and one on the opposite side on the center bench. That's what my recommendation would be. Before mouting se...

Glad you had a good day. Do you need reservations for that place, our anniversary is next weekend. I want to take my wife to a nice place, but new to the area so I am kind of unsure where. Never eaten at Templin's, but if you like a seriously great steak, and aren't real big on "high falutin" ambia...

I'm afraid I'm going to have to echo the sentiments of the rest, I don't think it would be worth it. I'm a life member of the NAHC, and have been for 16 - 18 years (can't remember when I joined). In the beginning, it was good, now (like others have stated) it seems they don't know what they want to ...

RE:attaching transducer to boat
Chris - I did something similar to what Bill did when I put my FM 480 on my old 14' Hewescraft. I bought a couple pieces of aluminum stock about 14" long by 2" wide by 1" thick. I pre-drilled the holes in aluminum stock and then used them to mark the position on my transom. Once done, I drilled hole...

RE:Dry Side Rendezvous
For me and my wife, it's always considered as table fare, and my preference is for white fleshed fish, so bass, crappie, bluegill, perch, walleye not necessarily in that order. Trout come in a solid last place, and I'm just burned out on them. Sure they're fun to catch, but that's not what we're abo...

Hewes- I have often wondered when there is a large algae bloom going on in a lake like West Medical, will the larger globs of algae, if big enough, be misread by the fish finder as fish? Are they dense enough to give a false reading?:-k Hi Marc - If the algae bloom is big enough it can register on ...

Your only camping options are two private resorts Sprague Lake Resort or Four Seasons Resort. Camping is prohibited at the public launch on the south west end of the lake.

RE:Sprague Lake rehabilitation
Sprague is an interesting lake, with a strange fishery. I honestly don't beleive that rehabbing the lake will improve things much. There is no public access to speak of, the only public launch is crude at best and there is no camping except for the two private resorts. If WDFW wants to improve the f...

Johnny K - Have you been to Sportsman's Warehouse or West Marine (next to Lowe's on Sprague Ave)? They have display models for you to look at and I know you would get good advice from the sales folks at West Marine. If you do talk with the folks at West Marine, I suggest you shop around for the best...

Im not exactly sure if its still a .08 like driving or not . Another thing Im not sure about is if the size of the boat matters. Because if you have a 11 footer with an electric motor I dont see you geting into too much trouble as compared to a 20 ft Skeeter with 250 ponys?!? The link tcb posted st...

For those of us over here on the prairie next to Idaho, Cabaela's is building a store in Post Falls also this summer. It will be located directly to the right as soon as you cross over the river into Idaho on I-90. I think that may be one of the reasons why White's closed out their fishing dept. Ri...

RE:White's Closing Fishing Dept.
I was there Wednesday and the selection is still quite good. Most of the reels are gone, but there were still several rods left in the racks. Tons of tackle yet. I'm going back for a third time this week to stock up on some more gear. Sale was 30% last week, maybe it will be down to 40% soon! (PS - ...

I think this GW was just having a tough day. Do you know how many people use one stringer for their catch? I'll bet there are thousands of folks who do this all the time. Not saying it's ok or that it's not against the law, but I'd find it hard to enforce since it's not clearly defined in the publis...
