Re: Lake Merwin fisherman, get in here...
On a scale of 1-10, how sketchy is the area around the launches? Heading to Mayfield for a few days in August but want to try Merwin for a half day and all our supplies will be in the back of the truck. (couple ice chests/totes of food) Anybody ever have their vehicle messed with there? I would go ...

Re: Favorite Lake in Washington?
They're in there but VERY few and far between. In targeting tigers there for the last 21 years, I've inadvertently caught perch, rainbow, kokanee and countless pikeminnow (thankfully their numbers have dwindled drastically) never a bass. I've only seen a single picture of one that was caught near th...

Re: Favorite Lake in Washington?
Mayfield, without a doubt. So many memories chasing tiger muskies with my grandfather. He's been gone for 9 years but I still go back every year and when I'm on that lake, it feels like I was there with him just yesterday. Also on a mission to bring the state record back to Mayfield where it rightfu...

Re: 2018 Trophy Bass Pictures Gallery
Hi dutchman, in hindsight I should've weighed her but it was very clear early in the fight that it was the biggest bass I had ever caught so she's currently my pb...and second place isn't even close lol

I'll post a report on Terrell but had to post a pic here. This is the biggest bass I've ever caught. I wish I weighed her but wanted to get her back in the water quick.

Interesting, thanks for your input. Perch never crossed my mind but yeah, it makes sense.

Fishfinder/Sonar images
Just a thought but maybe a section where folks could post interesting images they've picked up on their graphs. Might be kinda cool to see images of local submerged bridges, roads, shipwrecks, other structures.

Freshwater baitfish
I was fishing Lake Whatcom on Halloween and found something very interesting on my fishfinder. After posting on a Humminbird forum, thermocline and interference were ruled out but several people suggested it was baitfish. I was under the impression the only baitfish we had in the area were peamouth ...

Re: Charlie's Leaders
Well, good news. I was finally able to track him down (we musky anglers are a tenacious bunch, aren't we) and after getting all his new contact information, ordered another dozen leaders.

Charlie's Leaders
After seeing the other leader thread, it reminded me to order up another batch. I've always used Charlie's Leaders (out of Minnesota I believe) for years and they've never let me down He's not listed on eBay anymore, phone calls aren't getting returned and email won't go through..anybody know what's...

Removing water stains on a white hull
Hey everyone, I'm a proud new owner of a 2002 Nitro that I picked up locally. Anyway, some of our smaller lakes resemble strong day-old coffee and have left a brown water stain/line on the white hull. I have an orbital polisher I plan on using to remove it but most of my experience is with metal. An...
