Re: exhibiting at trade shows
I'll have a website up and running, since Im uber geek they arent difficult to do. I was looking at the bighorn show, is like $525.
and yeah, since I would have to travel for anything outside of spokane, Ive got my mind on the incidentals as well.

Im going to start making my own line of lures, and possibly selling flies as well, and was looking at some of the trade show costs....$1200 for the one in puyallup....seems pricey but Ive never exhibited anywhere befo...

Any local hook makers?
Was wondering if any of you knew of any companies in washington state that make hooks? Since Im filing for disability I thought I would give making flies, lurers, and rods a try via an online shop and I would rather buy from companies.

Can money be made building rods and tying flies?
So Im in the waiting process for disability but Ive been trying to come up with ideas to make money, at least enough to suppliment disability (if I am approved for it) - back story, Ive been fighting to stay off disability for 4 years after being recommended that I file for it. Ive had some ideas bu...

Hey all, I could use some help
Ok some back story some of you may know, most wont....back in 01/2009 I lost my job as a respiratory therapist at a hospital. I was having some weird mental issues so I went to get a neuropsych eval done as recommended by a friend. The evaluator diagnosed me with Adjustment Disorder and General Anxi...

Re: WDFW lists where to catch "GOLDFISH!"
that is why I take my fish and put them in a bowl of water and stick em in the freezer for a half hour if I need to "get rid of them"...most humane way I can think of, would rather they succumb to hypothermia than be poisoned in the sewer lol. or be introduced as an non-native somewhere
Re: New pole
that is one of the reasons I went for it instead of any other stick, cause you know how kids love to walk carrying their poles with the tip pointed down
Re: New pole
he almost lost it today at West Medical. had his back turned and I was rebaiting the youngest's pole, looked up to see it jerking around. If it wasnt for the reel being caught by the edge of the lil concrete curb it would have been gone....luckily i lunged and got it, but lost the fish too. think me...
New pole
For some reason my oldest son's pole twisted at the top over the winter so unfortunately (hehe) had to get him a new pole. I like buying them new fishing gear as much as buying it for myself.

Usk hatchery reopening?
so went to the Bighorn Show yesterday and stopped by the DFW booth. I talked a a guy there that said he was trying to get the Usk hatchery reopened. It appears that there is a large sponsonship coming from Seattle City Light to remodel the hatchery. Also from what I can recall, with is foggy since t...
