Re: SMOK'D WHITEFISH
Whitefish salads and smoked fishes both are wonderful whitefish dishes. Your recipe of soup is bit more different and sounds very interesting. Next time I'll be making it this way. Hope I make it as good as it looks here. I didn't put any in the soup. The fish was used as a spread on the bagels. I ...

Re: Homelessnes
In Yakima there are people on almost every major street section and off/on ramps. there are those that are truely in need, but when you see many of them all year long and a few have been doing it over 4 years in a row and or they are smoking cigeretts along with watching them end their day by walkin...

Re: first fish/first cast bad luck!!!!!? Whitefish
I will smoke it! though I thought I'd pickle it. Sucker actually taste good smoked but for the many bones. Pickling is even better as the bones dissolve. But I would want a few more of them to make it worth the time. Use to catch hundreds of them in the early spring during their spawning runs in the...

first fish/first cast bad luck!!!!!? Whitefish
Went fishing with the "Whitefish Master" Gordy in the Yakima Canyon. While the fishing wasn't great we did catch fish. Unfortunate for me I had to catch the first fish on the first cast and did not get any more. Gordy said that it was bad luck to do so and has been proven several times by me while f...

Re: Perch and Crappie Lakes in Kitsap or Jefferson
I wouldn't eat anything from Long Lake. The lake has had a lot of chemicals put in it to kill the weeds.
