leech traping
I am thinking of trying to trap leeches in Potholes for fishing. I know you have to use them in the water you get them. Has any done it?

Re: electric downriggers
I have an 1101 running braid and an 1106 with wire. I got the 1106 last year and am using the wire it came with. I lost gear with wire in the past so I am giving braid a try on the older 1101. I have been running this way for a year in salt and fresh water. 15Lb fro salt and 6 or 8 for fresh. The br...

Re: A little rusty
go to the game dept web site and under hunting go to "go hunt" download the map of the area you are looking at hunting. It shows state and fed land. If you have a Garmin GPS you may be able to use a map program that shows who's land you are on. http://www.huntinggpsmaps.com" onclick="window.open(thi...

Re: Small creek CrawDad traps?
I cut a 3X5 panel in my cone trap and sew it in with 1/8" cotton, same as I use on my crab pots. I have had the same cord for years on the crab pots with out any problem.

Click on the site name and it will tell you if you can camp. The Lind Coulee arm has a lot. Also look at some of the seep lakes.

Re: Hand held G P S
I had a Magellan for several years, it worked well. It died a few weeks ago. I got a Garmin Oregon 450t. The Magellan could be set to show what I wanted on the screen all at one time, speed/direction and map. It had battery that was just for it and rechargeable, I think it had a AAA adaptor. I went ...

Map Hotspots
I like the hot spot button on the reports. The question or thought I have is it looks like there should be a "I fished here" button. I have seen several reports with "hotspots" marked for "I got nothing".This note may not be with the hot spot, you only see it when you read the report. This becomes p...
