Maytown pond
I have heard rumors of this pond to hold large sunfish. My buddie and I found it just behind Deep Lake. anyone ever fish it? Looks perfect, I was a little worried though as the only access point I found, we had to cross train tracks with a no trespassing sign? I saw lots of garbage from previous fis...

New fishing kayak.
I got a new angling kayak, been to the local (black lake) everyday. I'm tired of catching 9-11" trout. Can anyone suggest a local or semi local body of water I could have some fun on. Anyone know where warm water fish are biting? Even bluegill would be more enjoyable than killing 9" trout. Thanks in...

Re: Thurston lakes?
I was on Black Lake the other day catching trout. I ran into a game wardon and asked if anywhere else in Thurston County was any good. He said other than rivers, Black Lake is your best bet for fish now.

King Salmon in Black Lake!
I was fishing the other evening off the dock at Black lake, in Olympia, when a boot king came swimming by. It looked to be 10-15lbs, and very dark and crusty. Has anyone ever heard of Salmon in Black Lake? I'm guessing it came from the creek by the college just went a little too far. If I would of t...

Puyalllup river for a 15 year old.
I'm trying to get my son who's 15 to catch his first salmon before school starts. We want to head to the puke tomorrow afternoon. I know the gear he needs, we are just from Tumwater and very unfamiliar with the Tacoma area. My friend told me to go down river road, and we'll find a spot. We'll try th...
