Anyone know a lake or pond as close to tumwater as possible to catch, crappie, blue Gil, catfish, bass from shore. My son and I are itching to get into them. We went to black lake last night and caught 2 small crappie.
Re: chickens
Yeah, he does it to them when they are fairly young, and then raises on on his ranch, they only eat natural foods, they get big, and he chops there heads and eats em, and sells the rest, he doesn't make that much money but is is an extra 4 or 5 k a year.
Re: chickens
I have a friend, that is really into capon. He raises em all da time. Best dang rooster I have ever aten, he sells em to a couple asian stores at $15 a pound.

Re: Summer Starry Flounder Advice
I would not wade in that area, the tides come in real fast. Also there is this black mud, I remember about 20 years ago someone getting stuck there and dying.

I used to fish off of that pier that is now closed in that area. I caught many large flounders using fresh sandshrimp I dug from the beach.

My son and I really enjoy crappie. Does anyone know of a good lake or pond within 3 hours of Olympia for good crappie fishing. We would like to go this weekend and do not own a boat.
