Re: Your old chart card still has value
I think I still have some really old C-Map cards. How much rebate on them?

Re: location info
Thanks Aaron. I agree that finding specific lakes and all the info about that lake does not seem intuitive to me. I always seem to have to spend a lot of time mucking around before I find what Im looking for.

I forgot about the no tax. Another plus.
Yes, the foot pedal is optional and not included. The bluetooth versions will come with the heading sensor that is needed for the 5 ft spot lock.

Re: local shop install Bow Mount Minn K. Terrova
You might ask Brian about the Riptide (salt water) version of the motor you want. Last year, it turned out that the salt water version of our Ulterra was the same price as the fresh water version. We almost never use it in salt, but its nice having the option, and not having to worry about corrosion...

Re: local shop install Bow Mount Minn K. Terrova
If you are still shopping for the motor, charger etc, you wont find any cheaper pricing than from BBG Marine. Give Brian a call. He is required to advertise list price on his website, but he discounts (almost) everything. You just need to call him or email him to get a quote. I have purchased two di...

Thanks for the kind words! No plans to add to this at the moment, but I am happy to discuss specific questions if anyone has something they would like to discuss.

Re: Lake Tapps launch options
The other launch is actually on the south end of the lake in Allan Yorke Park, but I thought I heard it had closed. IIRC, it was run by the city. There is a Lake Tapps info line I think.

Re: 2018 Pike Tally
That was an awesome fish Mark! Congrats on the C&R record! I thought you had screwed up and left a clue in that first pic in the report about where you caught that fish. You can see your fish finder screen with the chart view. Its not very clear, but I thought I could figure out where you were with ...

Well, the creel reports on the WDFW site suck everywhere except Hoodsport. Thats probably;y where we will try unless I hear from someone who has recent data.

Re: Saltwater Chum fishing
Im surprised no one has gotten back to you. Im also considering trying for chum in the Sound again - its been many years. One famous location is the hatchery near Hoodsport on the Hood Canal. Thats where I first caught some chum. They fight great but taste like crap if they have turned dark. Check o...

Re: Lake Coeur D'Alene Spring Chinook!
Hi Mark, Yeah, I started to get suspicious about that shortly after I started using the internet to search for fishing reports several years ago. It soon became clear that most of the reports coming from guides and resorts seemed to be 5 start reports. Some of them were always 5 star. It was confirm...

Re: Lake Coeur D'Alene Spring Chinook!
I called the Fins & Feathers guy in Coeur d'Alene today. He said the salmon fishing has been "ok" lately, and that the fish still seem to be mostly on the surface. Keep in mind this is info coming from a tackle supply/fishing guide guy. I have NEVER in my 65 years ever ever heard a tackle supply guy...

Re: Lake Coeur D'Alene Spring Chinook!
Most of that video looks to me like it was shot in the north end of the lake. If you look closely at the shoreline images, at one point you can see a large building in the Coeur d'alene marina in the back ground. That one looks like they are pretty much due south of the city. At another point they l...

Re: Lake Coeur D'Alene Spring Chinook!
Mike, or anyone else who might know...what do you call those treble hook bait rigs you guys were using in the video? They are basically a salmon slip tie rig but with treble hooks. Also - where can you buy them or do you have to make them up yourself? Ive spent the last hours trying to Google someth...
