Re: bait caster reccomendation

I've been using the Abu Garcia black max 2. It's my first bait caster and I love it. Really easy to get the hang of once everything is adjusted correctly. I rarely will get a backlash although it does still happen. But it's a great reel to learn on. And it's an awesome price at cabelas.

Re: Bait caster Noob

Hey guys thanks for the tips. Went out today (Saturday) and used my baitcaster on the water for the first time. Got the hang of it real quick once I got it tuned up. Used it for floating eggs and jig under a float. Caught 2 chum. Although they were not my target species they were lots of fun. It was...

Re: Rain!

As of 8:05am Friday morning it looks as though it's peaked and on the downward slope. Hopefully no more rain for the next 2-3 days will put it where we need it.

Re: First Coho Season

Just a little update on how my season is going. I went out fishing today (saturday 10/26) fished prison hole for 2-3 hours and saw one fish jump. I stuck mostly to dick nites and jigs. no bites. My dad did catch a really fresh looking humpy that actually hit the lure. We almost crapped ourselves whe...

Re: Silver Season Over?

That's great to hear. We had a little sprinkle this morning. Not much at all but hopefully sense it's been so dry lately it will get the fish moving a little and we can have a good weekend of fishing. Fingers crossed for tomorrow.

Re: CHUM

But sense chums are a no no in the sky ill just stick to steelhead. Ive never got one of those either but always wanted too. When does...

Re: First Coho Season

My plan for saturday and sunday (sense seahawks arent playing) is to start at reformatory hole and work my way up to reese road, stopping at any river access i can find. And throw my whole tackle box out there. Everything i got in there and moving should give me a good chance at finding some fish. i...

CHUM

When do the chum start running? What you using to catch them dogs? And where are some likely places to hook these bad boys. I heard proctor creek was a pretty good place and use purple jigs.
