Re: Skagit county lakes for trout.
I fished Lake Mcmurray Last weekend and got some decent trout and bass. Thats not too far from ya. Only has a boat launch though. Im more familiar with the 7 lakes in Snohomish County, Which Goodwin, Ki, Martha, Shoecraft, and Crabapple all produce some good trout. Goodwin (which I grew up on) by fa...

Re: Question regarding June 1st opening
It is Not open to Salmon at all this 2016-2017 season from the looks of it. It would specifically state SALMON: the season open for them, then the rules if salmon were open on the river. I dont think the Wallace is ever open for kings. The mouth of the wallace downstream on the Sky is open for them,...

Re: Lake Terrell Bass help
Fishing Terrell can be difficult with all of the weeds. Spinner baits do alright going around logs/lilys if you find some semi-open water. When I was there catchin fish I was casting weightless plastics (senkos/worms) and let them slowly sink with maybe a few small twitches and thats how I was catch...

Lake Cassidy Duck Eater!
So I was fishing Sunday on Lake Cassidy when some full grown ducks started freaking out and flying away from shore. One duck wasnt so luck and I saw it struggling for its life rolling around in the water being attacked. At first I thought a monster bass was going after it, but i didnt think a bass w...

Re: Nooksack River Nets
I have been emailing WDFW on these concerns and regulations lately and it is difficult to enforce since the tribes are a sovereign nation and have their own rules that they are supposed to follow and work along with state agencies for regulations, but as you see as well that doesn't work out so grea...

This would be the third old time spot of mine with new signs if true. i will be checking it out. I think they do it to discourage people who use river spots ...
