Re: Beaver Lake question

I have talked with an enforcement person about this issue on Rattlesnake lake. No gas means no gas , not bagged up or tilted up. You'll also see HP restrictions on some small lakes. In that case is OK to have a bigger motor, provided you do not run it.

Re: What to do ... with Chum Salmon

I personally use a wet brine and get good results from chum salmon. As to at what point the meat is no good, other than catching a fish with obvious rotting flesh, you won't know until you cut it open. THe flesh would be mushy and extra pale (it's pale to start with)

Re: Visiting from the east coast

There is a fishing pier in Edmonds that can be productive. If you did want to chance it, take the ferry from Mukilteo across to Clinton, then a short drive south to Possession Point Bait where they sell live herring and have a private beach. Fish the herring under a float right off the beach. It's a...

agree with the above, for coho I'm cruising at 3.5 mph, life in the fast lane! The pinks you'd do just as well searching out schools of jumpers and casting jigs for them.

Re: Broke off piece of lower unit on motor

My first boat had missing chunks of skeg for years as I learned the hard way about power boat operations, LOL. May be a non-factor. NOt sure what was going on with your return home issue.
