I just placed an order. If the guys in the club like them, I'll order some each month for our raffle.
I just mailed you off a bunch of stuff, more even then I said I was going to. I also sent a bunch of Business cards for you to hand out at your next club meeting. Looking forward to hearing back from you guys on how you did on them.
Sounds great! I'm axious to try 'em out on some prespawn bass, and I'm bettin' they'll do well pitched onto beds during the spawn. I'm headed to Falcon lake this summer, I'll take some along and see what them big ol' Texas bass think of 'em.
I can show you what they think of them in Texas. LOL Here is some pictures and email that came with them from Jace of Post Texas, they got some hogs from Lake Fork on a 6" Pearl Whilte Sink-N-Fool in about 2 ft. of water. His dad got the another big fish. An 8 lb. pictured below and Jace also got a 9.2 all off of just one bait!!!!!! Here is his letter.
"Hey Fish N Fool love ur baits!!!!! One of the guides at Lake Fork gave me one of your white Sink-N-Fool baits. The first fish I saw on a bed I tried it out it worked like magic! The bait set for a about 30 seconds before the big bass went crazy on it, well here she is all 10. 8 pounds of her! I had been trying to catch bedding fish all morning, but a cold front had came in the previous day and gave the big bass a bad case of lock jaw. At about 11 o'clock. I had been casting at what I thought was a 6 or 7 pound bass with a 8 in brush hog. I tacked her on the side of the head hard several times and she still wouldn't take the bait. Our guide said that he had a new bait that a friend had asked him to try out called a Sink-N-Fool and he asked me to put it on, after about 2 cast I got the bait positioned right behind the big hog. I gave her one good thump in her side with the bait and then I let it sit right in front of her in about 3 seconds she gobbled the bait up and proceeded to move it off the bed as soon as I realized what was happening I set the hook in her. She put up a great fight for being so close to the boat after taking her out of the large net I noticed that she was quite a bit bigger than I had thought she was, and after weighing the monster I was awarded with my first 10 lbs. bass ever.
The other two big fish that my dad and I caught came later that day. We caught several small fish on your bait as well, but we ran out shortly after I caught the 9.2 pounder.
Jace Pollard with his 10.8 lb. Hog
and his dad from Post, Texas.

9.2 lb.

8.4lb.

I recieved my shipment of sink-n-fool baits today, and I had to let everyone know that these baits are legit! Very good colors, and the shape is great. These are some big fish getters for sure. We need to get these in some shops around here. My suggestion to you folks out there is that you order some of these before the spawn this year, these will be great for bed fishin', as well as many other presentations. I can see these also working well for flippin' docks, trees, or weedbeds, wacky rigged, or weedless.
Also, they're made in the Northwest. Support our local businesses!:salut:

Hey mark I got your order ready and will be shipping it out tomorrow.
I was trying to get it out today but didn't make it to the pot office in time. Look for a little bonus in the package.

Awesome to hear! I might try them out in about a week and a half or so, so not a rush. I set up the Kistler Argon medium w/ Quantum AC501PT, loaded 20lb braid that I had, added about 3' 12lb flouro leader to the braid. I've got lots of gear to try out and stuff to read up on. I gotta say, I am lookin forward to using the worms the most... 3 more rods to set up, spinner bait, jerk or popper, and a crankbait. I opted for more reels instead of one good one! Thanks Again!

I hope you tied that fluorocarbon on using the Crazy Alberto knot, It is the ONLY knot you should use to join 2 lines. Super easy to ite and far stronger then any other knot for joining lines.
Then of course I'm sure you use my Fish-N-Fool knot to tie on all your hooks and lures with.

Fish-N-Fool wrote:The Quadfather wrote:Fish-N-Fool, is your website currently updated on what you have available? At least 3-4 of the pages I looked at said "Unavailable at this time" Thanks for putting up the link, Toni. I will keep looking for it to update.
Quadfather, when I decided to go from pouring just a few baits in my shop to being able to pour 12,000 baits a day, I had to make some sacrifices. I had to pick just my best selling lures to go into production with, as every color and every mold for the different baits costs thousands of dollars. It cost me $2500 to add just 1 more color, so I put all the money I had into my best baits the 5" and 6" Sink-N-Fool baits and mass produce these. Once I get sales up I hope to bring back some of the other baits and sizes I used to sell. But for now that is on the back burner. Once this starts to take off I have a bunch of other baits I hope to market as well. I have a unique line of spinner-baits and buzz-baits, a swim jig, a 1 of a kind jig trailer, and a floating mouse bait that I just love.
I know i could go over seas and get my products made at a fraction of the cost I pay now, but i just wont do that. That's why I'm proud to put "AMERICAN MADE" on every package.
man I can relate to that. we just got into injection molding last December and my molds all cost about $6k and up. I'd love to get into lures but it's too pricey for me right now.
Good luck, I like that you added tips and whatnot to your site-

Ya know...on a budget and obviously not a large production scale as Rick, and selling baits...you can make some nice molds for personal use out of plaster of paris. Keep in mind these are not injected...more so hand poured. After doing some research online, I've made some decent molds and poured some decent baits. And yes, you can make two-part molds for round baits My cost so far has been 12 bucks for plaster and my time of course...along with some trial and error. Just a thought for those that might want to see what they can produce.

~My biggest worry is that my wife (when I'm dead) will sell my fishing gear for what I said I paid for it.
