Highest Lakes with Bass in WA?

Post by cwbraue » Fri Mar 06, 2020 9:25 am

I have been wondering about this for a while. I'm out of state now, and been catching some bass down here in Texas, where the water is usually warm, if not hot. Our lakes are, of course, much cooler, so I am trying to figure out how high of a lake can bass survive in in WA. From what I can tell Alder lake and Lake Chelan may be the highest altitude lakes with bass in them, at 1100 and 1200 feet roughly of elevation.

Wow, I never would have thought they could survive that high so far north.
